The UC Davis Police Department's main office is located in the Fire/Police Building at 625 Kleiber Hall Drive, Davis CA 95616. There is also a sub-station located in Sacramento adjacent to the UCDMC emergency room, on the corner of 42nd Street and V Street. Requests for services may be made at either location 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
All crimes and accidents occurring within the UC Davis Police jurisdiction should be reported immediately to ensure that appropriate action is taken. If someone's behavior or the situation is disturbing, threatening, or out of the ordinary, call the UC Davis Police Department who will respond and assess the situation.
Crimes, accidents or suspicious activity occurring outside the UC Davis Police jurisdiction should be reported immediately to the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction.
Emergencies or Crimes in Progress
To report crimes in progress or police, fire, or medical emergencies on campus or at UCDMC, dial 9-1-1 from any Davis campus or UCDMC telephone, including pay phones. This will connect you directly to the UC Davis Police Department dispatch center. From a cell phone please call 530-752-1230.
Emergencies can also be reported by using one of the emergency telephones located throughout facilities and parking areas on both campuses. Even if you are unable to speak, the dispatcher or operator can locate the phone from which you are calling and a police officer will be dispatched to your location.

For NON-EMERGENCY calls for assistance, call the UC Davis Police Department at (530) 752-1727 (Davis campus) or (916) 734-2555 (UCDMC).
Cell Phone Users
Cell phone users may request emergency and non-emergency assistance by dialing (530) 752-1230 or (916) 734-2555. Dialing 9-1-1 from a cell phone may be received by the California Highway Patrol and result in a longer response time for assistance.
